Do Business in Hungary
As soon as you have sent us all the required information, we only have to check the original documents during our personal meeting, so you can use your new company from the day following the signing of the documents.
If the founders are natural persons, this typically takes a few days. If the founder is another company, it may take 2-3 weeks due to translation of the founder's documents. In such cases, the translation may be carried out only by the authorized public bodies.
For the preparations, we need the data of the founders, the name of the company, the selected services, and you have to provide your new company with the whole or a determined part of its share capital.
In order to set up a company and to open a bank account, you, or if more people are setting up a company, you and your co-founders need to travel to Hungary, since we have to verify the authenticity of all documents, including your ID documents, and also your identity.
With us, you can set up your company while complying with all respective legislations, and thus we ensure that you do not have to waste your precious time with unnecessary regulatory controls due to errors committed by others.
Once the documents are signed, if this takes place in the morning, you can expect to enter into transactions with your new company within a few hours. If the signing takes place in the afternoon, the company may be registered only on the next working day.
After registration, the company will operate as a "pre-company", until the final registration decision is issued by the Court of Registration within 30 days. However, a "pre-company" is, in a legal aspect, already a full right company. It has a tax number, a company registration number, and it is listed in the company register, so it can enter into transactions.

Of course, if you require, we can help you to organise your stay in Hungary. If you do not arrive by car, in case you require, we can assist you with reserving your accommodation or by sending a taxi to the airport or train station.
This basically depends on the activities of your company. If your daily presence is not required, for example, because you operate an online store in Hungary, you probably will only need to travel here rarely after the establishment.
Most importantly, if you are going to be the executive director of the business, you either need to have an address in Hungary or you need a delivery agent who will pick up your mail in Hungary and forward it to you.
